- Our preschool does not provide bus transportation, and there is no before or after-class childcare.

Preschool Enrolment: How It Works
When Applications Are Reviewed
Applications open February 2, 2026.
All applications are processed in the order they are received, with placement happening in stages as classes fill.
Enrolment Timeline
February 2 – March 25
Priority is given to current Edmonton Christian Schools families applying for 4 year old preschool.
March 26 – June 15
Enrolment opens to all 4 year old children.
June 16 onward
Enrolment opens to all 3 and 4 year old children, first come, first served.
A child is considered 4 years old if they turn four by December 31, 2026.
When You’ll Hear From Us
- Families who apply between February 2 and March 25 will be notified by April 10, or sooner if a class fills up.
- Applications submitted after March 25 are reviewed after April 10, in the order received.
- Reminder: Applications for 3-year-old children will be reviewed after June 15.
If a Class Is Full
If your preferred class is full, your child will be placed on a waitlist.
Your application will remain on file for the rest of the preschool year, and we will contact you if a space becomes available.
Reapplying
Preschool applications do not carry over from year to year.
If you would like your child to attend a second year of preschool, a new application is required.

Preschool Basics
- Edmonton Christian Preschool has a program fee.
- Children attend two days per week.
- Children must be fully toilet trained and independent in the washroom.
- Busing is not available for preschool students.
- Children must be at least three years old before starting preschool.
- Children who turn four by December 31 are considered 4 year olds.
Looking Ahead to Kindergarten
- Kindergarten registration is separate from preschool enrolment.
- Preschool enrolment does not transfer to kindergarten at Edmonton Christian West or Northeast.
