All children must be fully toilet-trained and independent in the washroom.

Our preschool does not provide bus transportation, and there is no before or after-class childcare.

2026-2027 School Year

Orientation Week: September 14-18, 2026
First Week of Classes: September 21-25, 2026
Last Week of Classes: June 14-18, 2027

Enrolment Order:

Beginning February 2, 2026, applications from all groups will be held in the order that they are received, and children will then be placed in a class in the following order until classes fill up:

  1. February 2 – March 25 current Edmonton Christian Schools families (4-year-old children only)
  2. March 26 – June 15: all 4-year-old children
  3. June 16 onward: all 3 and 4-year-old children (first come, first served)

Children who are 4 years old by December 31, 2026, are considered a 4-year-old.

Enrolment Notification:

Families who apply between February 2 and June 15, 2026, will receive notification of whether they are enroled or waitlisted by June 16, 2026, or when a class reaches capacity, whichever occurs first.

Applications submitted after June 16, 2026, will receive notification within 10 business days of applying.

Waitlist:

After you apply, if your preferred classes are full, you will be notified, and your application will be saved for the remainder of the year. We will contact you if a spot becomes available.

Applications are not carried over from year to year. If you wish to apply for a second year of preschool, you will need to submit a new application for the following year.

Reminders

  • There is a fee to attend Edmonton Christian Preschool.
  • Children attend two days per week.
  • All children MUST BE fully toilet trained and fully independent in the washroom.
  • Busing is not available for preschool students.
  • Children MUST BE three+ years old before they can begin preschool.
  • Children who are 4 years old by December 31st are considered a 4-year-old.

Kindergarten:

  • Visit the Edmonton Christian Schools website for kindergarten registration information.
  • If your child was born in 2021, s/he may start kindergarten in September 2026.
  • If your child was born in 2022, s/he may start Kindergarten in September 2027.
  • Preschool enrolment does NOT transfer to kindergarten registration at Edmonton Christian West or Northeast school.
